Research Use Only Policy

This Research Use Only Policy applies to access to and purchases from Peptiqo Labs, operated by VIAL TEKNOLOGIES LLC. It supplements our Terms and Conditions. If this Policy and the Terms conflict, the more restrictive research-use requirement applies to the extent permitted by law.

1. Research use only

Products offered by Peptiqo Labs are sold for laboratory research use only. They are not for human use and not for veterinary use. They must not be used:

in or on a human or animal;
for clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic, or treatment purposes;
as or in a drug, biologic, medical device, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, household product, or veterinary product;
for self-experimentation, personal use, or administration by any route; or
for another purpose prohibited by product information, our Terms, or applicable law.

Product names, descriptions, posted records, or references to research do not constitute medical, veterinary, diagnostic, treatment, safety, or regulatory advice. Nothing on the website represents that a proposed use is lawful, safe, effective, approved, cleared, registered, exempt, or suitable for a particular protocol.

2. Eligible purchasers

Purchasing is limited to eligible purchasers in the United States. A person creating a purchasing account or placing an order must:

be at least 21 years old;
be authorized to place the order and provide accurate, current, and complete information;
have a legitimate laboratory research purpose; and
have appropriate authority, facilities, procedures, and trained personnel to receive, store, handle, document, use, and dispose of products lawfully.

Eligibility does not determine that a particular use is lawful and does not guarantee acceptance or fulfillment of an order.

3. Accounts, attestation, and review

A signed-in account is required to place an order. At checkout, the purchaser must complete the current research-use attestation. Creating an account, completing the attestation, or receiving an automated order acknowledgement does not mean that an order has been accepted.

We may request information reasonably needed to review eligibility or an order, including the legal business or organization name, business address, website or institutional identifier, representative’s role, business contact information, and a general description of the research context. We may verify submitted information using lawful sources before accepting or fulfilling an order. Do not submit patient data, clinical records, full payment-card information, or unrelated sensitive personal information.

Accounts may not be transferred or shared with an unauthorized person. We may periodically re-review account or order information and may require a renewed attestation after a material policy change.

4. Purchaser responsibilities

A purchaser is responsible for:

checking the product identity, label, lot identifier, packaging, and available documentation upon receipt;
determining and complying with laws, regulations, institutional rules, workplace requirements, and safety procedures that apply to acquisition, possession, storage, handling, transport, recordkeeping, use, and disposal;
restricting access to trained and authorized personnel;
maintaining appropriate security, inventory, handling, and disposal controls;
ensuring that every use remains within the research-only restrictions in this Policy; and
contacting Peptiqo Labs before ordering if a particular testing record or product attribute is material to the purchasing decision.

Testing records are displayed only when a record has been posted for the applicable product or lot. A record for one lot does not apply to another. If no record is posted, do not assume that a test was performed or that a record exists.

5. No resale, transfer, or diversion

Products may not be resold, redistributed, relabeled, transferred to an unauthorized party, diverted from the purchasing organization, or made available for personal, human, veterinary, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or other prohibited use.

6. Refusal, cancellation, suspension, and termination

To the extent permitted by law, Peptiqo Labs may request additional verification, place an order on hold, refuse or cancel an order, or suspend or terminate account access when:

eligibility or authority cannot be verified;
submitted information is inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or outdated;
an order or account appears connected to prohibited use, resale, diversion, fraud, abuse, or legal risk;
payment, inventory, address, shipping, or compliance checks fail; or
action is reasonably needed to enforce this Policy, protect people or the business, or comply with law.

If a canceled order was charged, any required refund will be initiated to the original payment method. We may preserve records concerning the review, decision, and transaction as permitted or required by law and our Privacy Policy.

7. Reporting concerns

Contact peptiqo@proton.me promptly if you believe an account has been accessed by an unauthorized person, submitted information is no longer accurate, a product was delivered to the wrong party, or a product may be connected to prohibited use or diversion.

8. Policy changes and versioning

We may update this Policy to reflect operational, product, or legal changes. The current version and effective date will appear at the top of the page. If required by law, we will provide additional notice.

The version accepted during checkout may be recorded with the applicable order. A material change may require a new attestation or additional review before later purchases.

9. Nonwaivable rights

Nothing in this Policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
